It is with great excitement that I am announcing the careful re-opening of my practice. The pandemic has created big shifts in many of our lives and I look forward to getting back to working on your health goals with you in-person. For the foreseeable future my practice has relocated to an office space in Dupont Circle. One of the great advantages of this space is that it is shared by fewer practitioners and therefore when your appointment is scheduled you will be the only one in the space. Metered parking is available in front of the building and in the surrounding neighborhood. The office is located just a block away from the Dupont Circle metro (red line).
While the safety of patients and practitioners has always been paramount to my practice, extra precautions have been put in place to minimize potential spread of COVID-19. New guidelines from the CDC and the American Society of Acupuncturists have informed how adaptations to practice are made to minimize risk. I will be monitoring the landscape and plan to make adjustments as necessary. Changes to my practice include: - Intakes will be done virtually and all patients will be screened prior to arrival. - Patients and practitioners are required to wear masks at all times. - Scheduling will be done in a way that allows for patients to immediately enter the treatment room upon arrival. - Disinfection of all surfaces is being done before and after you visit per the updated CDC guidelines. - Cancellation fees are temporarily waived. If you have any concerns that you may have viral symptoms on the day of your visit, your appointment will be cancelled. The cost of follow-up treatments has increased to $100 per session to reflect the increased costs of treating in the current environment (i.e. additional cleaning supplies, protective equipment, etc.). If you have any questions or concerns about safety protocols, do not hesitate to contact me. Telemedicine is still an option for those who do not feel ready to come back to in-person treatment.
