Here are some of my favorite resources that have been helping me get through the stay-at-home order. Let me know what you have to add to this list in the comments!
The Fit On mobile application is a free resource with hundreds of great workouts. If you have physical limitations make sure to scroll down (in the browse tab) to change the intensity.
Are you having a hard time figuring out what to make for dinner? Use this site to get suggestions of recipes based on what you already have on hand.
When I have a hard time winding down at night I turn on a guided meditation from Insight Timer. I often find that I fall asleep before a 15 minute meditation is complete. I like how the phone will automatically go to sleep so I don’t have to fiddle with my phone once I am done.
I keep a small daily calendar on the shelf in my bathroom. Every morning when I wake up I tear off the previous day’s page to reveal an inspirational quote. The quote always lifts my spirits and gets my day started with a short moment of mindfulness and reflection. If you google “2020 daily inspirational calendar” you’ll find a variety of options. This year I am working through a calendar by Dr. Wayne Dyer.
Are you finding yourself losing motivation to get things done? Think about reconnecting with your creative side or picking up a new craft. Recently I ordered a custom paint-by-numbers kit of my cats. I’m enjoying listening to music and painting as an alternative to spending many hours looking at a screen.
